Ambassador Dr. Sean L. Holland, C.D.K.A., is a distinguished diplomat, community architect, and visionary leader whose service spans the corridors of international diplomacy, African economic development, faith-based leadership, and social transformation. Based in Lansing, Michigan, Ambassador Holland has built a career defined by the convergence of purpose, policy, and partnership.
Appointed as Special Envoy to His Royal Majesty His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV of Tooro Kingdom, Uganda, Ambassador Holland serves as a critical bridge between the African continent and the African Diaspora in America. His work advances cultural diplomacy, trade development, and mutual cooperation between Tooro Kingdom and U.S. stakeholders.
As Michigan State Director for the African Union 6th Region Global (AU6RG) and the Economic Community of African Sixth Region (ECASR), Ambassador Holland leads strategic initiatives that connect the 200 million-strong African Diaspora with continental African institutions, building frameworks for economic integration, investment, and governance.
Ambassador Holland is the founder of Astra Lux Solutions, a catalyst organization dedicated to facilitating and accelerating African and Diaspora investment. With over two decades of community leadership, he has impacted more than 2 million youth through social-emotional learning programs, led racial healing coalitions, and pastored the Epicenter of Worship for 22 years — a congregation committed to transforming individuals and communities.
His diplomatic credentials include appointment as PEACE Ambassador to the United Nations ECOSA, Ambassador to the Unami Buffalo Nation (UBN), and Commissioner on the Lansing Regional Sister City Commission, where he represents Tooro Kingdom, Uganda. He additionally serves as COO of the Hands of Mercy Health Initiative Project, advancing access to healthcare across underserved communities.
